Is it just me, or is there a serious drought occuring in the sacred realm of fabulous shoes?
I have looked high and low for a pair each of silver and gold shoes. Requirements: looks spectacular with jeans or a cocktail dress, not too strappy or plain, heels cannot be death-defyingly high. Animal prints need not apply. Peep toe would be great.

I've been to all three women's shoe departments at my local Nordstrom. Nine West, Kenneth Cole, Banana Republic. Zip, zero, zilch.
South Moon Under, a fun, funky, trendy local chain even failed me.
Sigh.
When a girl can't find shoes she loves, the world is seriously off-kilter.
